What an amazing night of trivia and community spirit! Last night, our chapel was full with 55 keen quizzers for the Big Quiz and Chips charity fundraiser.

Today we enjoyed a wonderful bring and share harvest supper with the church family.

Our chapel was full for this year’s harvest festival as we thanked God for His provision, heard from a local farmer, shared homemade treats, and supported the North Norfolk Foodbank with generous donations.

This week we’re celebrating Colette, who lovingly creates a beautiful flower arrangement each week. Her thoughtful work brings colour, joy, and life to our church family.

A special morning at Swanton Abbott Primary as the chapel gifted sketching sets to the Year 6 leavers. May God bless them as they begin their new schools.

Today we had a great interactive and informal time this morning together.  The chapel was laid out café style and there was barely a seat free as we were enjoyed coffee and cake both before, during and after the service!

We want to give a special thank you Neil Hodgkins who came a gave our chapel garden a tidy up.

The Blanket Blessings group had a wonderful start on Saturday 7th June at the chapel, with many gathering to begin creating blankets for end-of-life care. Some attendees were even learning to knit or crochet for the first time! A big thank you to everyone who donated wool and came along to support the launch, beautifully organised by Clare Winston from our church family. Tea, cake, and community spirit were in abundance! A joyful Easter Sunday celebration at the chapel, as we reflected on the resurrection from John’s Gospel and shared the hope of new life. Chocolate eggs, comics, and sticker books are still available outside the chapel—do help yourself!

The Good Friday Walk of Witness in North Walsham brought together churches and members of the community for a moving time of reflection. In silence, we walked through the town, pausing for hymns and Bible readings, as we remembered the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

A warm and welcoming Easter Coffee on the Corner at Swanton Abbott Community Chapel, with crafts, treats, and community spirit.

Palm Sunday was a joyful celebration of praise, palm branches, and community. We remembered Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem with songs of Hosanna!, joyful worship, and creative fun for the children. Each person left with a palm cross in hand – a gentle reminder of the Easter journey ahead.
