The chapel was packed this Sunday as we held our harvest festival service.

We gave thanks to God for the abundance of all that was have in our supermarkets.  We thanked God for all His provision.

We heard from a local farmer about what life is like this year in particular for farmers - the worst seen in over 50 years of farming.   Prayers were said for all those who are struggling in farming in particular.

Doughnuts were enjoyed before the service , a member of the church family, Clare, made jars of elderflower and blackberry jam for people to take, and everyone took home a harvest bookmark.

Our speaker was Victor Jack from Suffolk.  He brought a challenging message from the Bible on the Parable of the Sower in Luke 8.

Our display of fresh fruit and vegetables was boosted by a sugar beet too - thank you to Colette who helped make all of this happen.

Finally, thank you to everyone for their generosity in bringing tinned and packet foods for the North Norfolk Foodbank.  Monetary donations were received too - all of which will be delivered to the Foodbank later this week.

Praise God for His goodness to us - we worshipped with grateful hearts.
