A village church for everyone

Swanton Abbott Community Chapel

is an independent evangelical church in Swanton Abbott, Norfolk.

We offer everyone a chance to belong, and to grow in their love of God
and for one another, within our beautiful rural community.
We welcome all ages and backgrounds.

Through the dedication of our leadership and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and want to help everyone to connect with God,
understand the bible and have a vibrant faith.

We are members of the Evangelical Alliance.

Contact us to find out more about what we do and what we believe,

Sunday Services 11 am

An all age family friendly service lasting an hour and a quarter, with a mix of contemporary and traditional worship songs.  Refreshments are served from 10.15am.

Connect Sundays

On the fifth Sunday of the month, we take a more

laid back and informal approach to church,

including a café style layout, interviews, special

themes, and guest speakers.
See our special events page for more details.  If

you're not used to church, these are a good starting

point.  All are welcome!

Alpha courses

Alpha is a series of evenings exploring life, faith and meaning.  No matter your background, or life journey, if you have questions and want somewhere safe to ask them, then Alpha is for you.    Drop us a line if you'd like to join the next group.

We meet for refreshments, then watch a DVD, and chat about the content.  There's no charge, no pressure and everyone is welcome!
